With a shimmering all-glass exterior, historical accents, and integration of open air spaces throughout, Ideal Tower will be the new keystone building of the Lehigh Valley. Opened in 1881, the Adelaide Silk Mill was the first in Downtown Allentown and one of the largest U.S. producers of silk through the 1940s, driving industry and workers to this thriving Pennsylvania city. In contrast to so many other industries of the region, the Adelaide Mill brought a soft, luminous, and fluid product to the world—inspiring the design of Ideal Tower today.
